 Position Overview

The Monte Inn | Lounge | Retreat is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for the role of Part-time Housekeeper and Breakfast Server. This position is integral to providing an exceptional guest experience by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment and offering a delightful breakfast service.

Responsibilities

· Open and serve breakfast to guests in the morning, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

· Address any guest needs promptly and courteously, providing excellent customer service.

· Changeover and make up guest rooms, ensuring they are clean, tidy, and ready for new occupants.

· Perform laundry duties on-site, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.

Work Schedule

· Weekend availability is a must. Days, mornings. 2-4 shifts per week from 5-8 hours per shift depending on the candidate. Additional hours can be available to the right candidate.

Qualifications

· Prior experience in housekeeping or food service is preferred but not required.

· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.

Ideal Candidate

· Looking to pick up part-time hours, especially on weekends.

· Flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the guests and the inn.

· Passionate about providing high-quality service and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

· Must have reliable transportation to and from the Inn.

· Must have a valid work permit and have the legal permission to work in Ontario, Canada
